Il Falconiere Relais & Chateaux:
The splendid residence of 17th century is located between Umbria and Tuscany in the beautiful countryside of Cortona: an exclusive and well restored jewel formerly home of the poet Antonio Guadagnoli and owned by the Baracchi family since 1860.
Now completely restored and transformed into a countryside Relais, it is part of the prestigious chain Relais & Châteaux.

The Relais and its rooms:
The rooms, reflect the elegant style of simplicity, typical of Tuscan villas. Some of the rooms are located in the Villa, others by the Chapel, overlooking the vineyards or inside the Thesan Etruscan Spa.
Many pleasant moments of intimacy, relaxation and wellbeing will make the stay unforgettable.

The restaurant:
The restaurant is on two floors with a glass and wrought-iron conservatory, overlooking the outside dining terrace with its ancient fishpond and rose-clad pergola. The cooking, which is personally supervised by Silvia, with the help of the head Chef Richard Titi, has succeeded in creating new temptations, using original and traditional recipes to create a marvelous cuisine accompanied by great wines.

The Baracchi estate is located on the beautiful slopes of Cortona, inside the property of the Relais. The family tradition of grape growing and wine-making began on the 1860. The wines are: Ardito, a blend of Syrah and Cabernet, that, together with traditional varieties like Smeriglio Sangiovese, Smeriglio Syrah, and Smeriglio Merlot, open the stage for two unique and special wines: Astore, 100 % Trebbiano with maceration on its own skins and the astonishingly unique Metodo Classico from Sangiovese. A tribute to the land of Cortona and to the pleasure of good wine.

Thesan Etruscan Spa:
The Thesan Etruscan Spa is ready to awake all of your senses through environmental harmony, luxury and exclusivity. Of course we use natural products from the surrounding territory: grapes, wine, extra virgin olive oil, all recognized as great anti-oxidants. Together with honey and lavender, they will pamper and sooth your body and your soul.
